Meet Agent Cindee Leavitt Jessop
About Cindee
For me, “Why” has always meant family. When I became a single mother, my daughters were just 12, 10, and 5 years old. We moved from Colorado to Utah so I could be near my family and rebuild our lives. As the sole provider, I worked tirelessly to grow my insurance agency while serving as mom, dad, and financial support for my girls.
That was 20 years ago—and today, I’m grateful to say that life looks exactly the way I envisioned it back then. My daughters are grown, thriving, two are married, and I’m about to become a grandmother of eight. Life is full, vibrant, and incredibly good.
My Why for Insurance
My path to insurance wasn’t planned—it found me. After my divorce, I returned to Utah and enrolled at Weber State University to learn Spanish. That’s where I discovered the Professional Sales program and knew instantly it was where I belonged. Paired with my background in communications, it was the perfect foundation for rebuilding my life.
I trusted my instincts and jumped in. I wanted to understand the financial world, and the program taught me everything I needed and more. I’ve always been someone who follows my gut, and it has consistently led me right where I’m meant to be. Insurance is not just my career—it’s my calling.
Twenty Years of Serving Clients First
I’ve owned my agency for 20 years, and for the past 12, I’ve been an independent agent. That means I don’t represent a single insurance company—I represent my clients.
I shop policies across multiple carriers to find the best fit and lowest premium without sacrificing coverage. My clients receive the same service and care I give to my own family. I make myself available 24/7, and I never send clients to an 800 number when I can help personally. If a carrier call is needed, I’ll three‑way call to support them through every step.
Each year—about 30 days before renewal—we proactively shop our clients' policies to ensure they’re still getting the best possible coverage at the best price. I even have a dedicated team member who runs fresh quotes daily. Most agencies don’t take on this time or cost, but for us, keeping our clients protected is non‑negotiable.
This is why my tagline is:
“Your Best Coverage Is Your Agent.”
Community Involvement
Community Involvement
My business has been built almost entirely through word of mouth, fueled by years of involvement in the community. I’ve been active in:
- Ogden-Weber Chamber of Commerce
- Davis County Chamber of Commerce
- Business Networking International (17 years)
I’ve served on two Women in Business boards, chaired multiple committees and events, and for more than a decade have volunteered with The Christmas Box House International. I also volunteer for causes that protect children and serve as a delegate and precinct vice chair in Weber County.
Community matters—and I believe in giving back.
I love life! I live life to the fullest!
